Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the 12 volt power supply fuse.
  2. Remove the 12 volt power supply socket by placing one side of the "T" portion of the tool J 42059  into the tab window and then the other should be angled into the opposite tab window, then pull the 12 volt power supply socket straight out.
  3. Remove the tool from the 12 volt power supply socket.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the instrument panel 12 volt power supply.

  5. Remove the 12 volt power supply retainer using your index finger and pulling out.
