Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle

CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION .
  1. Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle  .
  3. Remove the wire harness assembly from the wire restraint clip (1).

  4. Remove the wire harness straps.
  5. Disconnect the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly connector.
  6. Remove the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly in the following way:
    1. 6.1. Press on the locking tabs of the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly.
    2. 6.2. Pull the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly out of the turn signal switch housing.
