Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle

CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION .
  1. Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle  .
  3. Remove the wire harness straps.
  4. Remove the wire harness assembly from the wire restraint clip (1).

  5. Disconnect the connectors of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
  6. Remove 2 pan head tapping screws from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
  7. Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
