Removal Procedure

  1. Open the fuel filler door.
  2. Remove the fuel filler cap tether (3) from the fuel filler door (1).
  3. Remove the fuel filler cap (2).

  4. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the fuel filler door (2) to the vehicle.
  5. Remove the fuel filler door (2) from the vehicle.

  6. Check the condition of the fuel filler door bumpers (2). If they are damaged, they should be replaced.
