Tire Pressure Status

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The tire pressure parameter is displayed on the DIC as determined by the electronic brake control module (EBCM). The tire pressure is displayed in the DIC in one of the following formats:

The DIC displays TIRE PRESSURE LOW when the DIC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM indicating a low tire pressure condition. The DIC displays - instead of a tire pressure status if the DIC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the EBCM. The tire pressure monitoring system is reset by pressing the RESET button for greater than 3 seconds while the tire pressure status message is displayed.
