Resetting Procedure

Follow this procedure to reset the GM Oil Life System™:

  1. With the ignition of, press the SELECT right arrow button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) to OIL LIFE percentage is displayed.
  2. Press RESET and hold for five seconds. OIL LIFE 100% will appear and then when the button is released OIL LIFE 100% will be displayed.
  3. Turn ignition OFF.
