Installation (Federal Emissions)

  1. Install intake air heater, if removed. Install intake manifold tube with NEW gaskets. Install intake manifold tube bolts and nuts. Tighten bolts and nuts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m) in numerical sequence. See Fig 1.
  2. Install the main fuel pipes and fuel junction block. See FUEL JUNCTION BLOCK . Install fuel hoses to FICM and FICM wiring harness. Install fuel pipes to left fuel rail. See FUEL RAIL ASSEMBLY .
  3. Install intake air heater terminal and nut. Install turbocharger boost sensor with bracket. Install turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt. Install turbocharger. See TURBOCHARGER .
