Visual Inspection

  1. Perform the following visual inspections:
    • Inspect each bearing journal and bearing for damage.
    • Inspect the thrust wall surface for wear and/or excessive runout.
    • Inspect the reluctor ring for any damage to the ring teeth.
    • Inspect all threaded holes.
  2. Repair or replace the crankshaft as necessary.
