Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim plate (1) from the door trim panel. Refer to DOOR TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT (MANUAL WINDOWS) or DOOR TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT (POWER WINDOWS) or DOOR TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT (SIDE/ REAR DOOR) .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the following components, if equipped:
    • Power window switch
    • Power mirror switch
    • Power lock switch
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the tweeter (5).
  4. Drill out the heat stakes in order to remove the tweeter.
  5. Remove the tweeter from the front door trim plate.
