Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left side rear door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR .
  2. Remove the rear door extension. Refer to Extension Panel Replacement - Rear Door .
  3. Remove the left side rear door latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Lower  and Latch Replacement - Upper  .
  4. Remove the left side rear door latch handle. Refer to Latch Replacement - Lower .
  5. Remove the left side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Door .
  6. Remove the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window (if needed). Refer to HINGED REAR WINDOW REPLACEMENT or REAR WINDOW REPLACEMENT .
  7. Remove the left side rear door weather-strips (if needed). Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT AND REAR DOOR LOWER .
  8. Remove the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR .
  9. Remove the bolts that retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
  10. Remove the left side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.
