Description & Operation

Clutch is a single-disc type. A diaphragm spring is used to engage pressure plate. Clutch is hydraulically operated by a clutch master cylinder and a transmission-mounted slave cylinder. See Fig 1 . A Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch is used to disable starter if clutch pedal is not fully depressed.
