Clutch Pedal Position Switch

  1. Apply parking brake. Place gearshift lever in Neutral. Disconnect clutch start switch electrical connector. Connect ohmmeter between switch terminals. Loosen lock nut and turn switch outward. Depress clutch pedal to floor.
  2. Allow clutch pedal to return from floor and stop 0.8-1.2" (20-30 mm) from floor. Slowly screw switch in until ohmmeter indicates continuity. Hold switch at this position and tighten lock nut. Connect switch electrical connector.
