Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate filler. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster Lower .
  2. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster .
  3. Remove the instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Extension Trim Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the instrument panel driver knee bolster panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster .
  5. Remove the instrument panel passenger knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right .
  6. Remove the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
  7. Remove the instrument panel assist handle. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Assist Handle Replacement .
  8. Remove the bolts that retain the instrument panel upper trim pad to the instrument panel carrier.
  9. Remove the nuts that retain the left outside duct to the instrument panel upper trim pad.

  10. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad from the instrument panel carrier.
  11. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad from the vehicle.
