Valve Rocker Arm Cover Installation - Right

Install the valve rocker arm cover gasket into the valve rocker arm cover.
Apply sealer GM P/N United States 12345739, GM P/N Canada 10953541 or the equivalent to the notches where the cylinder head and intake manifold meet.
Install the valve rocker arm cover.
Install the valve rocker arm cover bolts.
Tighten:

Tighten the valve rocker arm cover bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

Install the vacuum lines from the upper intake manifold.

Install the ignition coil studs.
Tighten:

Tighten the ignition coil studs to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
Install the electronic ignition control module.
Install the electronic ignition control module nuts and bolts.
Tighten:

Tighten the electronic ignition control module nuts and bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

Install the spark plug wires.
