Master Cylinder Reservoir: Installation

  1. Use clean brake fluid to lubricate the new grommets and the grooves in the reservoir. Insert the grommets into the grooves in the reservoir. Verify that the grommets are properly seated.
  2. Connect the reservoir to the master cylinder body. Use your hand in order to press the reservoir straight down into the cylinder body. Drive in the master cylinder reservoir pins in order to retain the reservoir. See Fig 1 . Install the master cylinder.
