Heater Inlet Hose - L81: Installation

  1. If installing front heater inlet hose, install hose and clamp to engine port. Position clamp at 2 o'clock.

  2. If installing rear heater inlet hose, install hose and clamp to heater core inlet pipe. Position clamp at 9 o'clock.
  3. Install front heater inlet hose to rear and install clamp at 1 o'clock position.
  4. Install air outlet duct assembly.
  5. Install battery box/UHFB assembly. (Refer to "Battery Cooling Box" procedure in the Electrical Service Manual.)
  6. Connect negative battery cable.

    Torque: 

    Battery Terminal Bolt: 17 N.m (13 ft-lbs) 

  7. Fill cooling system.
