Rear FWD/Drum: Installation

  1. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2). See Figure.
  2. Install the wheel bearing/hub
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
    WARNING: These fasteners MUST be replaced with new fasteners anytime they become loose or are removed. Failure to replace these fasteners after they become loose or are removed may cause loss of vehicle control and personal injury.
  3. Install the NEW wheel bearing/hub bolts. See Figure. Tighten the NEW wheel bearing/hub bolts to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).
  4. Install the brake drum. Refer to following:
  5. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
