Shock Absorber Replacement: Fwd: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Support the rear axle.
  3. If the vehicle is equipped with automatic level control, disconnect the air tube connector from the shock absorber.
  4. Remove the shock absorber upper bolt and nut
  5. Remove the shock absorber lower bolt and nut.
  6. Remove the shock absorber.
