Body Leans Or Sways In Corners

  1. Did you review the General Description and perform the necessary inspections? If so, go to next step. If not, see SYMPTOMS - SUSPENSION GENERAL DIAGNOSIS  .
  2. Verify the vehicle leans or sways in corners. Does the vehicle operate normally? If so, system is OK. If not, go to next step.
  3. Inspect the springs for wear or damage. Is the springs worn or damaged? If so, go to step  6 . If not, go to next step.
  4. Inspect the stabilizer shaft link pins for wear or damage. Is the stabilizer shaft link pins worn or damaged? If so, go to step  7 . If not, go to next step.
  5. Inspect the tires for the correct tire pressure. Refer to TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS  . Is the tire pressure correct? If so, go to step  8 . If not, go to next step.
  6. Replace the springs. After repairs are complete, go to step  9 .
  7. Replace the stabilizer shaft link pins. After repairs are complete, go to step  9 .
  8. Inflate the tires to the correct pressure. After repairs are complete, go to next step.
  9. Operate the vehicle in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition? If so, system is OK. If not, go back to step  3 .
