Shock Absorber Replacement Front Wheel Drive: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES .
  2. Support the rear axle.
  3. If the vehicle is equipped with automatic level control, disconnect the air tube connector from the shock absorber.
  4. Remove the shock absorber upper bolt and nut.
  5. Remove the shock absorber lower bolt and nut.
  6. Remove the shock absorber.
