Coil Spring Replacement Front Wheel Drive Without Axle: Installation

  1. Install the coil spring (2). Refer to Figure.
  2. Use the utility jack in order to raise the lower control arm and load the suspension.
  3. Use the J-41820 in order to connect the ball joint to the knuckle. Refer to Figure.
  4. Install the stabilizer link to the lower control arm.
  5. Use the utility jack in order to support the lower control arm.
  6. Install the ABS electrical connector mounting bracket.
  7. Connect the ABS electrical connector.
  8. Install the brake caliper mounting bracket.
  9. Install the parking brake cable mounting bracket.
  10. Install the brake calipers. Refer to REAR BRAKE CALIPER .
  11. Install the wheel and tire assemblies. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in TIRES AND WHEELS .
  12. Lower the vehicle.
