Drum Brake Hardware: Installation

  1. Install the brake shoes with all the necessary NEW hardware. See BRAKE SHOE  .
  2. Adjust the drum brake system. See DRUM BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  under DRUM BRAKES in ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS.
  3. Install the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM  .
  4. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
