Park Brake Will Not Hold Or Release

- Were you sent here from PARK BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT? If so, go to next step. If not, go to PARK BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Inspect the park brake system for proper operation. See PARK BRAKE SYSTEM TEST under SYSTEM TESTS. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 5. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the disc brake system for proper operation. See DISC BRAKE SYSTEM TEST under SYSTEM TESTS. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 5. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the hydraulic brake system for proper operation. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM TEST under SYSTEM TESTS. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to next step. If not, go to PARK BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Road test the vehicle in order to confirm proper operation. See ROAD TEST under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If condition still exists, go to step 2.
