Removal (Right Rear)

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly.
  2. Remove the front park brake cable from the cable guides. Pull down on the intermediate park brake cable (2) near the park brake cable connector (1). Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable (2) from the park brake connector (1). See Figure .
  3. Remove the right park brake cable guide bolt (3). See Figure .
  4. Disconnect the right rear park brake cable (2) from the intermediate park brake cable connector (3). Use the park brake cable release tool to depress the right brake cable locking tabs (2). Remove the right park brake cable (2) from the park brake cable support bracket (1). See Fig 1 .
  5. Use the park brake release cable tool to depress the right park brake cable locking tabs. Remove the right park brake cable (2) from the caliper park brake cable bracket (1). Disconnect the right park brake cable (2) from the park brake actuator lever (3). Remove the right park brake cable (2) from the vehicle. See Figure .
