Removal & Installation (Rear)

  1. Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper bracket. Remove the brake pad retainers from the brake caliper bracket. Remove the brake caliper bracket. Mount the brake caliper bracket in a vise.
  2. Clean all parts in clean, denatured alcohol. Dry with low pressure, non-lubricated, filtered air. Inspect the brake caliper bracket for cracks. If cracked, replace bracket. Lubricate the brake caliper pin bolt sleeves with a thin coat of high temperature silicone lube.
  3. Install the brake caliper bracket. Install the brake pad retainers to the bracket caliper bracket. Install the brake pads to the bracket caliper bracket. Install the brake caliper to the brake caliper bracket.
