Rear Left Park Brake Cable: Installation

  1. Install the park brake cable. For Drum Brake Vehicles, install the park brake cable to the backing plate. For Disc Brake Vehicles, install the park brake cable to the park brake cable bracket.
  2. Install the park brake cable to the park brake actuator. For Drum Brake vehicles, install the tire and wheel and install the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM  .
  3. Install the park brake left side cable to the park brake equalizer. Adjust the park brake cable. See DRUM PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS. Lower the vehicle.
