Drum Brake Adjusting Hardware Inspection

- Visually inspect the adjuster actuator spring for the following:
- Excessive Corrosion
- Excessive Stretching
- Broken Hook Ends
- Twisting
- Binding
- If any of the conditions listed were found, the drum brake system adjuster hardware requires replacement. Inspect the adjuster assemblies for the following conditions:
- Bent
- Broken
- Missing Or Broken Spring Attachment Tab
- If any of the conditions listed were found, the adjuster actuator lever and/or attaching hardware requires replacement.
