Stabilizer Shaft: Installation

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft and the insulator. See Figure.
  2. Install the insulator into the clamp with the slit forward.
  3. Bend the link downward to close around the insulator. Center the stabilizer shaft.
  4. Install the clamp bolt.
  5. Install the link assembly insulators, the sleeve, and the retainers.
  6. Install the support bolt and the nut.
    • Tighten the link assembly bolt to 11 Ft. Lbs. (15 N.m).
    • Tighten the clamp bolt to 24 Ft. Lbs. (33 N.m).
  7. Install the height sensor link to the control arm.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
