Adjustment Link: Removal

NOTE: Tools Required: Steering Linkage & Tie Rod Puller (J-24319-B).
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel.
  3. Remove the adjustment link to lower control arm retaining nut. See Fig 1.
  4. Using J-24319-B separate the adjustment link from the knuckle. See Fig 2.
  5. Support the rear support with a transmission jack.
  6. Lower the rear support for access to the inner adjustment link bolt.
  7. Remove the rear support mounting bolts.
  8. Remove the inner adjustment link nut and bolt. See Fig 3.
  9. Remove the adjustment link assembly.
