Idle Air Control Valve: Removal

On 3.8L, remove fuel injector sight shield (upper engine cover) from engine. On all models, remove the electrical connector from the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. See Figure or Figure . Remove the IAC valve attaching screws. Remove the IAC valve from the throttle body. Remove the IAC valve "O" ring.
