Removal & Installation (3.8L - Inlet Pipe)

  1. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. See EGR VALVE .
  2. Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (3.8L - Outlet Pipe) .
  3. Remove the EGR valve inlet pipe mounting bolt (2) from the exhaust manifold.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the EGR valve inlet pipe bolt/nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
