Ignition System

  1. Inspect the Ignition Control (IC) circuits for proper connections at each ignition module assembly.
  2. Test for proper ignition voltage output using the J 26792 Spark Tester.
  3. Inspect the ignition coils for cracks, or damage.
  4. Inspect for a missing or damaged ignition module assembly grounding spring.
  5. Inspect for misaligned or damaged spark plug boots.
  6. Inspect the spark plugs.
