Vacuum Pump: Installation

  1. Install the vacuum pump. Install the vacuum pump mounting bolts.
  2. Install the vacuum pump pulley on the vacuum pump. Attach the Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer to the vacuum pump pulley. Install the vacuum pump pulley to the vacuum pump. Remove the Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer.
  3. Install the vacuum line to the vacuum pump. Lower the vehicle. Install the drive belt on the drive pulleys. See DRIVE BELT . Connect both of the battery negative cables.
