Malfunction Indicator Lamp Inoperative: Description

Battery voltage is supplied directly to Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). Powertrain Control Module (PCM) turns MIL on by grounding MIL control circuit. There should be a steady MIL with ignition on and engine off.
