DTC P0446: EVAP Vent Valve Performance: Description

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors performance of Evaporative emission (EVAP) system by applying a predetermined level of vacuum to EVAP system, then monitors vacuum decay rate. PCM sets DTC P0446 if vacuum decay rate is more than a predetermined value.
