Removal (HO2S 2)

Turn OFF the ignition. HO2S 2 is located behind catalytic converter. See Figure. Remove fuel injector sight shield (upper engine cover) from engine. Raise and support vehicle. Remove the splash shield. Disconnect the electrical connector retaining tab from the HO2S electrical connector. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector. Using Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J-39194), remove the HO2S.
