Removal & Installation

NOTE: The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is integral to the mass airflow sensor.

Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor is mounted to top of air filter housing. Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect MAF sensor harness connector. Loose outlet resonator/duct clamp from MAF sensor and remove outlet resonator/duct from sensor. Remove MAF sensor fastener nuts and remove sensor.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Connect the MAF sensor harness connector. Push connector in until the lock position is felt and pull back to confirm engagement. Tighten MAF sensor nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
