Engine Oil Pressure Switch: Installation

  1. Inspect EOP switch "O" ring and replace if necessary. Lubricate "O" ring with clean engine oil and install EOP switch. Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Connect EOP switch harness connector. Push connector in until the lock position is felt, then pull back to confirm engagement. Install splash shield and splash shield push pins.
  3. Lower vehicle. Check oil level and fill if low. Start engine and check for leaks.
