Mass Airflow Sensor: Removal

Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness connector. See Figure. Disconnect the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor harness connector. See Figure. Remove the air cleaner intake duct from the MAF sensor and the throttle body. Remove the MAF sensor from the air filter housing.
