Idle Air Control Valve: Removal

  1. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve. See EVAP CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID .
  2. Remove the electrical connector from the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. See Figure.
  3. Remove the IAC valve attaching screws. Remove the IAC valve from the throttle body. Remove and discard the IAC valve "O" ring.
