Accelerator Controls Pedal: Installation

- Position the accelerator pedal to the bulkhead. Install the accelerator pedal bolt and stud. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the accelerator cable to accelerator pedal. Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal. Also inspect the carpet fit under the accelerator pedal.
- Snap the IP courtesy lamp into the IP insulator. Position the IP insulator to the instrument panel. Install the push-in retainers to the IP insulator to instrument panel. Install the press-on retainers to the IP insulator to dash mat.
