Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket: Removal

  1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever. See Figure. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket. Disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle lever and accelerator bracket, if applicable. See Figure.
  2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. See AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect the wire harness from the retainer. Remove the nut and bolts holding the accelerator cable bracket to the throttle body. Remove the accelerator cable bracket.
