Fuel Strainer: Installation

  1. Install the new strainer to the reservoir. Support the reservoir with one hand and grasp the strainer with the other hand twisting the strainer into position.
  2. Install the fuel sender assembly. See FUEL SENDER ASSEMBLY . Inspect for fuel leaks using the following procedure: Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds. Turn ON the ignition. Inspect for fuel leaks.
