Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedures.

  1. 4 -  This step will determine if the MAP sensor voltage is within the proper range at idle.
  2. 5 -  This step will determine if the MAP sensor responds properly to the change in manifold pressure.
  3. 6 -  This step will determine if the Throttle Position (TP) sensor is operating properly.
  4. 7 -  This step will determine if any mechanical faults have caused this DTC to set.
