WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and 2003 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION:
Use the EVAP Pressure/Purge Diagnostic Station (J 41413) to provide a clean, dry, low pressure gas source. Do not substitute any other pressurized gas source. Damage may result to the EVAP system.
The EVAP Pressure/Purge Diagnostic Station (J 41413) is used to help locate leaks in the EVAP system. See Fig 1 . It provides a clean, dry, regulated supply of nitrogen to pressurize the EVAP system. Refer to the directions on the cart for proper operation. The Ultrasonic Leak Detector (J 41416) is then used to pinpoint the source of the leak.
