Tire Hop Or Poor Handling

- Did you review the General Description and perform the necessary inspections? See DESCRIPTION and VISUAL/PHYSICAL INSPECTION . Go to next step.
- Road test vehicle in order to verify if condition is present. Go to next step.
- Inspect the tires for uneven wear or damage. If tires are uneven or damaged, go to step 7 . If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the tires and wheels for missing wheel weights. If wheel weights are missing, go to step 8 . If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the tires and wheels for excessive runout. If not within specification, go to step 7 .
- Inspect the shock absorbers/struts for wear or damage. See STRUTS/SHOCK ABSORBER under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION. If not within specification, go to step 10 .
- Replace the tire/wheel if necessary. After completing repair, go to step 11 .
- Balance the tire and wheel assembly. After completing repair, go to step 11 .
- Balance the tire and wheel assembly.
- Replace the shock absorbers/struts. See STRUT ASSEMBLY . Go to next step.
- Operate the system in order to verify the repair. If condition is not corrected, go to step 3 .
