EVAP Canister Vent Solenoid: Removal

The EVAP canister vent valve is mounted to the fuel tank. See Figure . Remove the fuel tank. See FUEL TANK under FUEL SYSTEMS. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid harness connector. Remove the EVAP vent hose from EVAP canister vent solenoid. Bend the EVAP canister vent bracket tab to release the EVAP canister vent solenoid. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid from the fuel tank.
