Removal & Installation

  1. Remove mounting the 2 mounting nuts from the injector sight shield (top engine cover). See Figure . Lift the sight shield from the front and pull forward to disengage the rear tab from the bracket.
  2. Disconnect the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve harness connector. See Fig 1 . Remove the vacuum hoses from the AIR solenoid. Remove the nut securing the AIR shut off solenoid to the AIR shut off solenoid bracket. Remove the AIR solenoid valve. To install, reverse removal procedure.
