DTC P1560: Cruise Control Engaged With Vehicle In Neutral Or Park: Testing

  1. Perform the CRUISE CONTROL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK . Once the test has been performed, go to next step.
  2. Since this DTC will set when the vehicle is shifted into Neutral or Park while the cruise is engaged, verify the condition under which the DTC set with customer. If the driver's actions caused this DTC to set, go to next step. If not, see Diagnostic Aids .
  3. Explain system operation to the customer and clear this DTC.
