Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement - Upper .
  2. Disconnect the fuel feed and return pipe from the fuel injector rail. Refer to FUEL HOSE/PIPES REPLACEMENT - FILTER TO ENGINE in ENGINE CONTROLS - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION, OVERHAUL .
  3. Remove the oil pump drive bolt.
  4. Remove the oil pump drive clamp.
  5. Remove the oil pump drive.
  6. Remove the oil pump drive seal.
